its amazing how dull campus life has gotten since the graduating class of 2001 (that would be the class that i was in, of course). i mean, on top of monitored parties and lame campus-wide activities such as the PT Cruiser Camp-Out cash giveaway, the scene at k-ville has become simply embarassing... where are the barbecues? and the beer bottles strewn all over the place? where's the obnoxious dood blasting hip hop at three in the morning? and the scores of people playing touch football? and where are those four or five doods doing weird sketchy shit in the woods nearby?
although my experience in k-ville years ago was a singular and short-lived week, it was, nonetheless, a tremendous experience...
- jj would remember playing football with me, and how i pegged a news reporter in the nuts after he asked us to join in (by accident, i swear!)
- dc would remember trying to drag his sick ass out of bed, just to watch a semester's worth of shit-hitting-the-fan manifest itself in amazing display of what-the-fuck?
- and i can never forget mr. hoffman's response to the late-night tent-check sirens - fucking screamed and shot out of the tent as though world war iii had just broken out, damn near giving me a heartattack in the process.
ahh... the good old days :)
