after minae, minkyung and i had dinner at soojin's house and went to karoake, soojin ditched us so we decided to go get drunk at a bar in youngtong. nothin' like heineken for cheap and good company (although sj came like two hours late).
haha, i like the part in the beginning where the singer gets whacked on the head with the styrofoam bat :p some of the rest of the korean humor i don't get so much though...

yesterday's duke-unc match was absofuckincrazy...
man, today's the first time this week i've come back home before midnight... i think it's starting to take a toll as my thoughts have progressively become more and more incoherent. i'm pretty much trying to pull the impossible -- completing two year's worth of phd research in 4 months while finishing up my courseworkk (quantum mechanics of all things!) and working pretty much full time at our startup company. this is in part to make up for the time i lost last semester taking care of my sick father, and in part to avoid going into my 9th consecutive year here at duke... yuck!
this video reminds of someone i know... except the girl is a guy. and he would be anxiously picking out guys' clothing instead of girls'... in new york city. but the rest of it went pretty much the same haha ^^
actually this video kind of sucks, but i thought it would be a nice cue for someone to drop a line to tell me how things are going. you know, like from a big (but not eldest) brother to a little brother. or somethin' like that.

i know i posted this before, but i ran across this picture again and couldn't help but chuckle a bit... man, i was thin back then!
that was, what... 1985? 25 cent fudge bars, my knee high socks, and the pack of cigarettes i'm picking up for my pop... :p
