a freaky thunderstorm hit my area today... reminded me too much of "war of the worlds!" -_- so i decided to snap pictures with my new digital camera (panasonic fx8). all these shots were hand-held! gotta love image stabilization ^^

paul, doeun and i headed down to soho to get some shopping done. it was actually the farthest south i have ever gone in manhattan, so that's an accomplishment in and of itself hehe alas, i bought nothing -_- i'm so cheap!

i drove up to new york for the weekend to visit friends. of course the first place we hit was 32nd and broadway for some good korean food (누욕곰탕) and coffee/cake @ cafe iMuse...

we all went out for brazillian food, which is pretty much just meat. i was still stuffed on korean food and the two hours of drinking i did with dave on that sunday afternoon :p

the headquarters for the o'sulloc cafe (see june 26th post) is in jeju island, where they have miles and miles of fields just for growing green tea. they housed a small museum as a tribute to this yummy plant, and, of course, on of their cafes itself.
