my eight days of boston was supposed to full of fun and new excitement. instead, i got eight days of heavy rain and not a spot of sun :( i think i was developing a bit of cabin fever being couped up in my hotel room pretty much all the time. i don't think i ever missed north carolina this bad!

after over a year of seeing him last, i met up with ho-wook. he was among the usual suspects of slackers that I would hang out with at the food store at Samsung where I worked two summers ago. he's up in boston now, doing some work in bio-informatics...

we went out to legal sea foods, a chain seafood resteraunt in the boston area. i figured since we were near the ocean, we might as well get some good eatin' of crabs and the likes...

i'm just gonna let this post be self-explanatory. all i'll say is that this was for the boston subway system. i'm _still_ in shock from this payment system...

my conference was held at the boston marriott at copley place, which is connected to two malls, one which was pretty badass cuz it was for the uber rich. since it pretty much rained nonstop during my stay, i pretty much lived there during the days, so it was my only view of boston.
