i have horrible luck going to the beach when the weather is nice outside. the last two times i went, there was a huge windstorm (virginia beach), and the weather was abnormally cold (miami beach). so this time, we decided to just drive three hours to wilmington beach (wrightsville, actually) when the weather got good. of course, we were stupid enough not to bring any swimsuits, so we ended up spending less than an hour there before heading back.
