i was paying my bills today and saw that enough time has passed at our new house that i could run an energy cost analysis to see how much money we are spending on heating/cooling. our house is heated by gas, which means we don't use much natural gas in the summer time, but obviously a lot during the winter. it seems that fall and spring are the times we spend the least overall on keeping our house a nice 70-78 degree temperature.
