Stars of Track and Field @ the local 506
as life in north carolina has become progressively more and more boring, minae and i are making an effort to explore things that we normally wouldn't do, the first of which is to go to more local venues such as the many indie bands that come through this state in chapel hill & carrboro. so yesterday's event was Stars of Track and Field who played at the local 506, and it was pretty awesome. this is something i think we'll definitely do more often...

another trip to the gardens
minae's friend, minjung, has come from michigan and apparently has some preconceived notion that duke and downtown durham is a magical place. as a result, we spent several hours just on the duke gardens alone.

needless to say, touring downtown durham took about 30 seconds to complete.
