minae's friend from undergrad came to visit us in san diego this weekend, straight from yuma, arizona where he's doing a pharmacy rotation. i can only imagine his excitement as there's absolutely nothing to do in yuma, from what i hear. i decided to take them to the cottage, perhaps la jolla's best place to grab brunch. of course i had to get their pot pie (i'm on a mission to find the world's best chicken pot pie)!
