google came out with another nifty feature on google maps called the terrain feature. i guess they got in touch with the us geological survey and plugged in all their topological data to give you yet another excuse to check out your house on google maps. speaking of which, i used to work there doing web design! the us geological survey, not google. and they looked kind of hideous now that i think about it.

anyway, to give you a sense of how hilly our new place is compared to our old place, i give you jpeg below!

so the new xbox 360 came out on sale today... unfortunately, production was so backed up that the originaly 4000 units that were supposed to come to raleigh only turned out to be 1700 units. that meant that places like Walmart only had 6 (yes, SIX) xboxes total

anyway, to make a long story short, i waited in line for 11 hours from 9pm to 8am to pick up my xbox 360 at target. had good company, some random nc-state folks, and fortunately the weather wasn't too bad...

we got this puzzle picture taken free at coex mall in seoul... it was part of some fund-raising thing fronted by samsung for helping a blind child, but at the same time promoting their new digital camera. eh.
