minae and i drove up to nyc on labor day weekend to hang out at soojin's new apartment off the east river... okay, from the left front: soojin, minae, me, doeun, seungjin, paul and kate. the two girls behind soojin are joyce and her roommate.
it's amazing that i met most of the people only in the past year, and we've all become a tight group of friends. thanks samsung!

pae and her housemates hosted a huge fajita party at her place, which was their way to drag people into their anti-bush campaign (which isn't very hard among those who know how to read and write...). most of them were graduate/professional students, and, as always, i ran into lot of first year med school kids (and it's always always first years that i meet)... anyway, here are some pics!
seungjin (on the right) is one of the most funniest, spaciest, osaka-esque girls i've ever met... she's up in nyc at columbia, so if you're in the area, you can probably spot her on the street staring up at the sky wondering "i hear a helicopter, but where did it go?" :p
nearly a month after saying goodbye to all the samsung interns last month, a handful of us met up at a little diner near columbia university for brunch last saturday. it was a bit strange seeing them all outside the confines of s.a.i.t. (samsung advanced institute of technology), but nevertheless awesome. everyone got to meet my brother and minae, and i finally got to meet doeun's boyfriend, a really nice guy...
i was dragged to this place THREE times!
i spent friday evening with minae, seunghoon, and joyce for one last dinner while we were all in korea. minae and i then spent the night over at seoul national university where minae's sister (min-kyung) goes... didn't get to see any of the campus, though, since it was nearly midnight by the time we reached there.
we went to a little jazz bar for a little while before craving some fried chicken, so at one in the morning we headed back and ordered some chicken on wheels. ahh... the college life...
most of the interns are leaving this week, so we've gotten together a lot to spend our last days here in korea... man, 21 minutes until 퇴근 freedom.. a bunch of us are going out tonight to meet up for one last meal, and i'm also meeting up with youngji (friend from duke) who i haven't seen in four months. by the way, my laptop completely died, so i can't post any new pictures anymore while i'm here =( here are few from doeun's cyworld...
haha, i know, it sounds nasty... but it really isn't :p
