Hey.

Six billion people in the world, and by chance you've run into me. Ran out of luck,eh? So whatcha doing here, anyway? More than likely, you probably already know me pretty well, know that I'm an engineer, am in my senior year, am looking for something to do next year, recently got hooked on anime, play the violin, live in a god-forsaken crime-ridden apartment complex, have a ton of gadgets - minidiscs, anime on vcds, anime on svcds, anime on dvds, dolby digital surround sound, computer parts strewn all over the place, overclocked processors, voice activated doors (hahaha. ha. erm... go bme 205!), and an eye operated mouse that only moves left left left! (hahah. ha. erm... go bme 264!).

Well.

Perhaps you're one of those got-to-be-friends-with-phil-in-six-months people which happened to a lot of people this semester (fall 2000). Perhaps you're one of those people who seem to pop in and out of my life like particles trapped in the string theory (how are you doing in those other 10 dimensions, by the way?). Perhaps you're friend of a friend, stumbling upon this niche in cyberspace through those pesky wormholes we call hyperlinks. Perhaps not.

Anyway...

I suppose you want to get to know me a bit better? Which side of me? I seem to be stuck between two different worlds, a dark elusive past I've only recently tried to piece together, and the present. Sometimes I find myself in between the two worlds - someplace hidden between dream and reality, someplace deep in my subconscious, where it's dark, devoid of all the things that keeps me planted in the present - friends, school, music... life.
